This morning I pushed my code to the mne-python repository.
You can see the pull request and its progress with this link.
I've already implemented a few of the suggestions and
committed those changes.
If you're a subscriber to the mne analysis listserv, you
might have seen the conversation regarding last weeks
progress. If not, you can check out the archives here
(My thread is toward the bottom).
One important note from that discussion is that in order to
isolate subcortical sources, they must be combined with
cortical or surface sources. That will be my next step this
week.
Some other important points were that the amygdala might
not be a good target for MEG activity, and that a reliable
way to validate my code is to work with simulated data.
I will focus on these two points after working through
combining surface and volume sources.
